Ace of Hearts thanks Animal Support and its co-founders Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidifor their sponsorship and support. Ace of Hearts is a dog rescue organization that is not only devoted to rescuing animals from euthanasia, but also to rehabilitating, spaying and neutering and re-socializing neglected and abused dogs.

“Save a life… Change your life.”

“Funding a non-profit is always challenging and this tough economy makes it even harder to continue to save animals from death row,” says Kari Whitman, founder of Ace of Hearts. “We’re also fielding lots of calls from victims of the foreclosure crisis who have lost their homes and are desperate to find an alternative to surrendering their beloved pets to shelter. We would like to thank Animal Support, and we hope that, with their help, we will be able to continue our mission to rescue dogs from an unnecessary end.”

Since its inception, Ace of Hearts (http://www.aceofheartsdogs.com) has rescued, trained, rehabilitated and provided loving homes to more than 2,000 shelter dogs. Many aggressive breeds, known as “bully breeds,” are simply put down because few services are equipped to handle them. Ace of Hearts specializes in the rehabilitation of such breeds. Additionally, Ace of Hearts provides outreach and information regarding pet spaying and neutering, which is a healthier and more effective means of animal population control than euthanasia. Ace of Hearts relies upon a collective of supporters that house, train and care for the shelter dogs, since Ace of Hearts doesn’t have a shelter facility.
